a pernicious beast

As time goes on we slowly begin to realize we have a problem. We notice destructive patterns playing out over and over again in our lives. We see that we're chosing bosses that are just like our fathers or wives that are just like our mothers. We remain trapped in a job we hate, compulsively under-earning and overspending.

'Anybody seen my soul?'

The harder we try to realize our dreams, the more they elude us. Success in others areas might make us even more confused about the parts of our life that aren't working. Growing increasingly desperate, we try therapy, read spiritual books. Everything makes us feel better for a while, but deep down, we know that something's very wrong; that our problem isn't solved.

We have become trapped in the prison of false beliefs.

Unconscious sabotage is a pernicious beast that plagues us all, gnawing away at the root of happiness, operating well below the radar and under cover of darkness.

Destructive unconscious belief systems that go untreated eventually lead to all kinds of chronic compulsions like procrastination, low self-esteem, overspending, compulsive worry, destructive relationships, workaholism, and so many others. It also contributes heavily to severe addictions like alcoholism, drugs, sex addiction, gambling, binge eating, anorexia, etc. Yikes!

Every unresolved point of frustration in our lives is a result of unconsious beliefs playing out as self-sabotage. Yes, it really is that simple.

the institutions have failed us

Making the changes at the deepest level of core belief is a formidable challenge. Sadly, this is an area where established institutions have failed us miserably. Not only can't they locate the problem at the causal level, but they can't access the high-level spiritual solution necessary to end your suffering.
